There are two main events in PW's fundraising calendar. Events such as the Walk for Life and World Aids Day remind us that HIV has not gone away. So get involved and get campaigning!
Support the Walk for Life - 1 June 2008
Find out why Crusaid's Walk for Life is the most fun you can have with your shoes on! The 10km sponsored stroll will start at Potter’s Field by Tower Bridge and will take in some of the great sites of London. You can support Positively Women on Sunday 1 June in two ways:
Sponsor PW online. Follow the link to the Walk for Life website and sponsor the team at Positively Women’s Walk for Life page. If you’re a UK taxpayer remember to tick the box and we can claim Giftaid on your donation
Join team PW on the day. Feel like a day out taking in the sites of London? Why not join PW and the thousands of walkers on 1 June and help raise money. Register on the Walk for Life website, set up your fundraising page, email your friends and family and watch the donations flood in!
Remember to join the PW team and the money you will raise will be directed to support PW’s work.
Last year we raised £1,747 – help us beat this in 2008!

World Aids Day
This year’s theme is Stop AIDS – Keep the Promise
PW holds a private event for beneficiaries on WAD to mark the day but you can get involved in events around the country. To support World AIDS Day or participate or promote an event visit the WAD website.
No matter how you decide to mark the day, you can help create a more HIV aware society, so please make sure you show off your Red Ribbon on 1 December.
