Walk for Life raises £1,000
On 1 June 2008, Positively Women staff, family members and friends took to the streets for Crusaid’s annual Walk for Life.
Extra colour was brought to the event by distributing purple helium balloons bearing the Positively Women logo raising awareness of the organisation as the balloons were borne through the streets of London by fellow walkers.
The sponsored 10k walk raised £1,000 for Positively Women and Crusaid. You can still sponsor team members online by visiting either Allan or Lucy's page.
Positive Action 2008 Conference Report Published
A one-day Conference of People living with HIV and AIDS
In March 2008 the Positive Action Conference was attended by nearly 100 people living with HIV from across the UK.
The report of the day has been produced with notes of all the workshops and debates held throughout the day, highlighting the key issues raised by delegates and the agreed agenda for action.
